In our line of work, there’s no such thing as retirement. Time flies. Every era imposes its own style and creates its own stars. As the style of this era doesn’t align with my professional philosophy, I’m continuing my career in areas that are less visible but far more enjoyable. We create brand-new, original and highly entertaining games and competitions that we’ve designed ourselves. Actually, they were all designed as television formats, but we aren’t planning to bring them to the screen for the time being. We screen them for attendees at corporate meetings, trade fairs, festivals, conferences and events held in various indoor and outdoor venues. It creates an atmosphere of fun and excitement that’s hard to believe without seeing it for yourself. We have a great time ourselves and feel happy knowing we’ve made others happy. The professional satisfaction of doing something unique is a feeling like no other. To be honest, it wasn’t easy. It took us about 10 years to develop our first game. First of all, we created a completely new concept. A first of its kind, based on revealing the results of a quiz show through exciting and impressive visual elements… In YarışMaç, we use a football game as our visual focal point. The virtual football match on the big screen unfolds according to the correct answer rates of the participants, who are divided into two teams. In this way, the excitement of the quiz multiplies with the energy of the football match, whilst the participants’ enthusiastic cheering, accompanied by music, creates an incredible synergy. Of course, we make this atmosphere even more entertaining with various theatrical touches. The result: an unprecedented atmosphere where participants cheer enthusiastically throughout the entire game, celebrate joyfully, sing and dance, and – especially when their team scores a goal – quite literally ‘go wild’, performing the ‘crocodile walk’. We have seven original games that we’ve developed ourselves, such as YarışMaç. They’re all great fun and feature unique content. Anyone interested can visit our website or call us for more information: www.animartbilgi.com To begin with, we organised it as a team-building activity at corporate meetings. We also ran it at some outdoor municipal events. Our current focus is on trade fairs, festivals, shopping centre events and all kinds of activities, both indoors and outdoors. We place particular emphasis on international trade fairs and conferences. This is because our response system sends questions to participants in their preferred language, enabling people from different countries to take part in the same competition. You’re right, all this work requires a large number of professionals with different areas of expertise. In fact, we have a ‘huge’ team of our own: my son (and business partner) İlker and I. We design together and prepare the visual elements together. İlker writes the code. We carry out the entire creative process ourselves. I wouldn’t want to overlook our friend Oğuz, who wrote our response system and ensures it runs flawlessly. He’s made a huge contribution too. For the time being, our primary aim is to showcase our plays at national and international fairs and conferences. We then intend to present our productions to the global market. In the meantime, a television broadcast might also be on the cards. If I can find the time, I’d like to finish the book I’ve started writing, which recounts my experiences over a career spanning more than 50 years. Who knows, perhaps I might even find time for a project or two in theatre or cinema. I need to get a move on. As the poet said: ‘At seventy, you’re halfway through life…’ Wasn’t that the poem? I might be misremembering the figure.
