In 2016, with a small business we opened in Fatih, we introduced Korean food to the Turkish people and enabled them to try different flavors. Sopung, which means "Picnic" in Korean, started its activities with a small business opened in Fatih in 2016, aiming to introduce Korean food to the Turkish people and enable them to try new and different flavors.
Operating with 4 branches until 2022, Sopung has signed its first dealership agreement by increasing its flavor varieties with the high demand of citizens after 2022. Under the leadership of its founder Aramsol Kim, Sopung Korean brand has been introduced and continues to be introduced all over Turkey by opening dealers in many provinces. Our brand is the most popular Korean Restaurant in Turkey, its customer potential is increasing day by day and it has succeeded in associating Korean culture with Turkey. Our brand, which is dedicated to 70% young audience, actively follows young people and their wishes and grows day by day.
At the same time, large advertising investments are made throughout the year and day by day it expands its advertising network.
- The person who will buy a franchise must have done a feasibility study about the region they want to open. The potential and average mass of the region should be investigated. (Competitor companies - Youth mass density - schools and other cafes in the vicinity - e.g. Starbucks and its mass should be investigated)
Then, after these studies, the business and location they have found should be visually and audibly transmitted to our company and an exchange of ideas should be made. Detailed research of the location is also carried out by the teams to be sent by us.
After this stage, the franchise candidate is welcomed to our office in Fatih, Istanbul for technical details and contract, signatures are signed and payments are received. The project of the rented business is drawn and architectural applications are started. Interior design and signage are not made in line with the breifs given by the Sopung team.
Issues such as product supply and staff training are discussed in detail in our office and finalized.
- The person who wants to buy the franchise right and open the new restaurant should do research about the region where he wants to open a restaurant.
- The potential and average audience of the region, such as competitor companies, other food sectors, density of young people, etc. should be investigated.
- Images of the identified region and the business to be rented should be sent to Sopung Korea. After sending the images of the location to the Sopung Korea official, if it is accepted that it is a region that meets the conditions, Sopung Korea teams and officials should come to the city where it is located and a preliminary interview and business analysis should be made.
