9Round, the world's largest Kickboxing chain, is now in Turkey
IKF Light Intermediate Kickboxing World Champion Shannon "The Cannon" Hudson and his wife Heather had a vision in 2008. With a different idea, they wanted to create a place where they could get great workouts with a more flexible schedule instead of spending hours at the gym. Shannon's martial arts and kickboxing training and Heather's own passion for fitness are the cornerstones of the 9Round Franchising empire.
After more than 70 competitions inside the ring, Hudson discovered that there was no place where he could receive what he described as "top secret and exclusive" training. Discovering this gap, Hudson created a gym project where the average person could receive this specialized training. This is where the vision for 9Round began. He knew he could take the grueling training he was doing in the ring and create a non-intimidating, convenient form of circular training, so that the average person could enjoy the benefits of boxing and kickboxing without getting punched. With great success and dedication, the founders of the brand, which reached 100 branches in 2012, decided to switch to the franchise system.
In 2019, 9Round Turkey structuring has started and the brand serves with 5 branches.
The European health and fitness market grew by 1.2% to €27.2 billion in 2018, according to the latest research from Deloitte / Europe Active. In addition to 28 European Union member states, this figure includes Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.
Market growth was again driven by a 4.6% increase in the number of clubs to 61,984 in all countries, with total members up 3.5% to 62.2 million. Thus, 7.8% of the 796 million people living in the European Union, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine, and 9.4% of those aged 15 and over, are members of one or more fitness clubs.
As in the world, 9Round Turkey will grow with franchises...
