DASKALİDES

Daskalides is the name of a flavor journey spanning 8 generations and 3 centuries from the Ottoman palaces to Belgium. Founded in 1931, it is one of the world's first chocolate brands. The first generation masters of the family were born in Cappadocia and Niğde and were the sweet masters of the Ottoman Empire. The family name of the family when they lived in Anatolia was KEŞİŞOĞULLARI.

The Daskalides family, who know the Anatolian spirit and flavors very well, produced chocolate known all over Europe as "MENDIANT" with a formula made of dried nuts and dried fruits grown in Anatolian lands, unlike other chocolate producers in Belgium. This formula, which entered the chocolate literature as "Mendiant", is actually the Anatolian flavor itself. This formula was awarded with the "Gold Medal" in chocolate festivals and competitions in Europe and Belgium. Daskalides, a taste of Belgium, the land of chocolate, whose history dates back centuries and whose inspiration is Cappadocia, is now easily accessible in Turkey.
