Actually, it all started like an American dream. We Frango'ers went to the USA for work and travel during our student years, but we ran out of money and started working in the nearest restaurant. Over time, this obligation turned into a hobby and we started to find admirable flavors in the cuisine of every country we visited.
As diploma doner makers, in September 2012, we decided to leave our professional working life aside and blend the food culture we have acquired all over the world with Turkish cuisine and share it with you. While establishing Frango, which opened its doors in the heart of Istanbul, we aimed to grow our childhood dreams and make those who love to eat happy.
