HANİFE BAŞ / ÇEŞME - Süpermarket chain CarrefourSA pressed the button to grow with tradesmen. With the dealership system it has established, the brand, which has started to open markets in cooperation with small artisans, has set a goal of reaching a thousand dealers in 2025.
CarrefourSA Executive Board Member Bulut Batum stated that they opened the 100’ünthü dealer in Izmir Alsancak’ in the dealership system they developed two years ago and said, "20 of our 100 dealers are women. There is a demand for dealership from every city. What is important for us is to bring the right product in the right location to the right customer. We want to open between 150-200 dealers this year," he said.

Stating that their dealership structure has reached 23 cities, Batum said, "As CarrefourSA, we are in 40 cities. In many cities, there are grocery stores, monopoly stores, or güçük markets. The franchise system is also beneficial for entrepreneurs and tradesmen. The investment to be made can vary depending on the concept and size of the dealership. All over the world, the sector is evolving in this direction. We preferred to meet with our tradesmen under the same roof. We also make 90 percent of the dealers' supply of ürün. With 12 warehouses and a logistics network, we bring the products to the dealers' doorsteps.
Stating that they continue to open stores in addition to the store açma, Bulut Batum said, “We will open 50 stores this year. We will see a more positive picture in the short term. There is also an inflation problem in the world. We expect a decrease in price increases. We increase prices below inflation. As a corporation, we minimize the impacts. We give up snow if necessary," he said.
The number of female dealers will increase to 50
Bulut Batum stated that social issues such as sürdürüleability and gender equality are also integrated into the dealership system and said the following: “20’of our 100 dealers are women entrepreneurs. 40 percent of our employees are women. We maintain the same philosophy in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. We want our number of female dealers to reach 50 as soon as possible. I can say that we prioritize women in applications," he said.
