Entrepreneurs Grow with CarrefourSA Support - "1000 dealers targeted in 3 years"
CarrefourSA, which has reached 160 dealers today with the dealership system they launched in 2020 to support small craftsmen, came together with entrepreneurs who want to start their businesses with CarrefourSA assurance at the 20th Franchising and Branded Dealership Expo held this year. CarrefourSA Executive Board Member and Assistant General Manager Bulut Batum said that they want to reach 200 dealers by the end of the year.

The 20th edition of this year's 20th "Bayim Olur Musun Franchising and Branded Dealership Expo" opened its doors at Yenikapı Eurasia Dr. Architect Kadir Topbaş Gösteri and Art Center. At the fair, which will run until October 30 and will keep the pulse of the franchise sector in Turkey, CarrefourSA Executive Board Member and Deputy General Manager Bulut Batum shared the latest point and goals of the franchise system in the retail sector with the entrepreneur candidates.

The number of women entrepreneurs is increasing
“We have realized a significant investment in the dealership system, which we set out to support artisans and local entrepreneurs and left 2 years behind. In this period, 160 of our 850 stores in 44 provinces are our dealers. 25 of these dealers are under the management of women entrepreneurs. Of course, increasing this number in our current period is one of our important goals. We will continue to support women entrepreneurs in the dealership system of CarrefourSA, where 40% of its employees are women.”
1000 dealers targeted in 3 years
Bulut Batum, who said that they provide dealerships in Mini, Süper and Express formats, said: "Dealership structuring is also very valuable for the organized retail market and the Turkish economy. The dealership system is a very profitable investment for entrepreneurs and tradesmen on this road that we set out to win instead of losing tradesmen. These investments can vary depending on the concept and size of the dealership. Investment costs per square meter for our mini and süper concepts vary between 5-7 thousand TL. For our Express stores on the fuel side, investments vary between 6 and 8 thousand TL. The payback period of the investment is completed in a short period of 2 years. As CarrefourSA, the demands for the dealership system are pleasing for us. In the next 3 years, our goal is to increase the number of our dealers from 160 to 1000.” he said.
