GASTROSHOW, which has been organized all over the world for many years with the support provided by the Turkish Ministry of Commerce to the Gastronomy Tourism Association, will make its mark on the day with its Istanbul meeting to be held on May 30-31. The event, which will be held at Turkuvaz Media Center Congress Hall on May 30-31 with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Culture, Culture and Tourism and sponsored by Turkuvaz Media, has previously been held in Dubai, New York, Romania and Ukraine. Erik Wolf, President of the World Gastronomy Association, and international author Chantal Cooke will also participate in this year's event in Istanbul.
The opening speeches of the 1st session of the event were delivered by T. C. Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, President of the Russian Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers Igor Bukharov, President of DEIK Nail Olpak, Governor of Istanbul Davut Gül and Rector of Topkapı Üniversity Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin. Dr. Emre Alkin will be accompanied by chefs Somer Sivrioğlu, Murat Bozok, Cüneyt Asan and Umut Karakuş in the following sessions on Modern Turkish Cuisine.
Demet Sabancı, İlhan Koçulu, Sema Soykan and Vehbi Varlık will take part as speakers in the healthy nutrition session. GASTROSHOW will continue with artist Tamer Levent, Former Minister of Tourism Bülent Akarcalı and actor Hakan Meriçliler on the subject of Art and Gastronomy in the 2nd gün session.
