Pizza Taxi was founded in 2010 by two food engineers; İlhan Kibar and Serdar Erdağ.
Serdar Erdağ has 25 years of experience in quality, supply chain and investments in an international company in 16 countries. İlhan Kibar has 30 years of experience in world cuisine, international and local pizza restaurant chains and catering.
Pizza Taxi, a brand created by the partners with a total of 55 years of experience, has been designed in accordance with the takeaway concept. Restaurants offer takeaway service as well as lounge and grab-and-go services.
Brand and corporate identity çalignments are designed under the leadership of İlhan Kibar and Serdar Erdağ and are constantly updated according to local and international consumer trends.
The first takeaway restaurant opened in Adana/Seyhan in 2010 is Kenan Evren branch. In a short time, Pizza Taxi has attracted the attention of consumers with its quality of food, open kitchen, high hygiene standards, flavors suitable for Türk taste and service concept. In 2010-2011-2013, Pizza Taxi made its own restaurant investments and put them into the service of consumers. As of 2014, it has decided to become a franchisee and has established its infrastructure in quality, production, audit, hygiene, logistics, etc. in a 3-year period. By training its restaurants and newly recruited staff, it has become ready for the corporate franchising process that will start in 2017.
Pizza Taxi, as of 2017, has regularly franchised, trained, and ensured that all of its restaurants are making the required profits with the operational, advertising and quality support provided.
2021 was the year that brought record growth to the Pizza Taxi family with the addition of 7 restaurants.
The co-founders attend local and international fairs every year to keep abreast of the latest trends in the pizza industry and reflect the latest practices in the Pizza Taxi restaurants.
